I Can’t Believe It!

I can’t believe that something so small, so minor could have such an effect. Friday morning I had a surgical procedure performed in the doctor’s office. No general anesthesia, only an injection at the site. Nothing more than you’d get from the dentist.

There was this cyst, about the size of a pea, on the inside of my lip that was removed. So I should have recovered by now. I’m dragging like…I don’t know what.

The muscles in my face ache from trying to keep my lips still. My husband can’t understand what I’m saying half the time and rice and eggs and mashed potatoes are starting to get a little old. I ate some sherbet—that was nice.

Okay, so it’s only been a couple of days, but this is starting to bug…big time! That’s what’s on my mind today. By Wednesday I should have something better to blog about.
